Is smoking permitted on the property?
Casa Azul is 420 friendly however we are a tobacco free property. Vaping is allowed. A $250 smoke recovery fee
will be applied for any violations.

Is Casa Azul accesible for wheelchairs?
Casa Azul is wheelchair accessible, it features one fully accessible room, and the restaurant as well.

Is there an age requirement?
Guests must be at least 25 years of age or older to stay with us.

What are the check in and out procedures?
• Check-In Time is from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
• Guest must present valid identification as well as a credit card upon check-in.
• Check Out Time: 11:00 am
• Front desk hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

What is the policy on an early check-in or a late check-out?
Early Check-Ins are welcome anytime after 8:30 am. We will gladly store your bags so you can enjoy our pool
deck, or explore the neighborhood and the beach while we get your room ready, and we will call you once it is
ready.
• Late Check Out requests are extended based on availability (up to a certain time). If a guest deliberately checks
out late without notifying the front desk, will be charged a $25.00 fee for each additional hour after 11 AM.

What is the Cancelation Policy?
• 7 days prior to the date of reservation. Cancellation made 7 days prior to reservation will receive a full refund.
• Cancellation less than 7 days prior to reservation date is non-refundable and the full amount of the reservation will be
charged..
• NO SHOWS will be charged for full amount of reservation
• There is only one way in which we can acknowledge cancellation of the guest’s reservation; the guest MUST send a
cancellation request stating the reservation number via email to the following address: bookings@casaazul.com. All
cancelations will be confirmed via email

What Payment options are accepted?
We accept AMEX, Chase, Discover, Visa, Master Card, PayPal & Cash. All reservations require a Credit Card for
incidentals.
• Lost/stolen beach towels, blow dryers, remote controls, keys, irons, and towels will be deducted from the credit
card provided upon check-in.
• All guests require an incidental deposit of $150.00 which will be taken upon check-in. This Incidental Deposit
will be taken on a Credit Card as a hold and will be released on the day of check-out. Normally this release will
be reflected in 4-7 business days.
• Any charges not cleared at the time of check out the credit card info on the reservation will be considered as
authorization for the uncharged settled amounts.
• For Non-Refundable reservations, the entire amount will be charged before check-in. For Standard Policy
Reservations, 50% will be charged previous to arrival and the remaining 50% will be charged upon arrival.
• For in house purchases, we accept the previous + cash, Venmo, Paypal & Ath Movil. Are pets allowed?
• No pets are allowed on the property.

Is there parking at the hotel?
We have limited parking at first comes first served. We have an agreement with a parking lot down
the street at a comfortable 1-3 minute walk. Uber if pretty fast an reliable on the island and Casa
Azul is centrally located to most attractions. We do not recommend you rent a car when visiting if
you intend on staying in the metro area. If you do plan on exploring other parts of the island you we
advice to take a look at our curated tours before you choose to rent a car.

Do you rent the entire property?
We absolutely do rent the entire property out for a buyout price. Please contact us for more information.

Do you allow photo/or film shoots?
Yes we allow for photo or film shoots with a complete buyout as a buyout price.

Do you offer media/influencer discounts?
We do offer our friends and family rate as well as one night free with a required minimum booking of one
night or more. To be approved on a case by case basis. Contact us for more information.

Is Breakfast Included?
Absolutely! Every morning we have a fabulous breakfast which is included in your stay. It is served every
morning at La Casa Grande from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM

Absolutely. We are a LGBTQ+ friendly establishment, gay owned and operated, and we welcome everyone.

Do you offer beach chairs or towels?
We do provide beach/pool towels to our guests. If you want a beach chair we recommend renting them in at
Numero Uno Guests House at Ocean Park Beach, Condado or Isla Verde Beaches also have chairs to rent.
Ask our concierge for other pool/beach experiences.

Do the rooms have a safe?
Yes, all rooms have a small keypad safe.

Yes every room has its own individually controlled A/C.

Do your rates include all fees and taxes?
No the base rate does not include the resort fee or the mandatory Puerto Rico 9% room tax

Do you offer Airport Pick-ups?
No, we do not offer airport pick-ups, however UBER runs 24/7 especially in the metro area

Do you accommodate big groups or events/weddings?
You may rent the entire property and host a special event, planned by us in house. Contact us for
more information.

Do the rooms have TVs?
Yes all guest rooms have a TV.

Are there laundry facilities?
While guests do not have direct access to the laundry room, we do offer a wash and fold service for
$25. Please allow a 12 hour required turn around time for this service (although it might be back
to you sooner than that but not guaranteed).

Is there an elevator?
No there is not an elevator on the property. Many of our rooms are accessed by one staircase. If it
is necessary that you stay on a first floor accommodation please let us know when booking. We do
have an ADA compliant room.

Temperatures year-round range from 75° to 85°F (24°-29°C).

How far is the beach?
Casa Azul is located just a five minute walk away from Ultimo Trolley Beach. There are multiple
other beaches which are also walking distance.

Do you have a bar/restaurant?
Yes, Chef Sami Rodriguez’s welcomes you for complementary breakfast with your stay. As well as
lunch, dinner, pool bar service, chefs tables, personal chef services when staying in the penthouse,
and much more. We also have a drinking station open 24/7 with fresh tea, coffee & water.

Are there restaurants or bars within walking distance?
Yes, there are many amazing restaurants on the streets surrounding our hotel-- particularly on Calle
Loiza. It is possible to walk, scooter, or Uber.

Where can I buy Groceries?
There are several grocery stores and fruit stands within close walking distance from us. In fact, the
lot we provide for our guest who do have a vehicle on their stay is the supermarket parking lot a
short 3 minute walk which is the closet supermarket to us.

When is High Travel Season in Puerto Rico?
The months of December through April are considered High Season. A very good time to visit
Puerto Rico is from May to June, right after the busy winter season and just before the hotter and
sometimes rainy summer. Winter/Spring weather is also very pleasant, barely escaping the mid-80's
on most days.
